I hope that you had a Merry Christmas. Thought you might like to see how those of us in Hawaii celebrate this day.

This would be us at Electric Beach. This was after we all got to go snorkeling. Can you believe it, getting to snorkel in the end of December.

Here is a picture of poor Jason. He had to get some skin removed on his head and this is him recovering. (No worries :)

I told Jeffrey that anytime he had made anything that he wanted on the blog to let me know. He made this and said, "mom can you put this on the blog." Sounded so funny. Then, of course, Jonah wanted something on it from him. So his is the plane with the knight sitting on it.

Out of the mouth of a child

So, Jeffrey asked me yesterday if I wanted to know what he had found out. Of course I said that I wanted to. So he told me that he figured out that if wines for something long enough then he gets it. He said, "Actually, I figured that out a while ago but haven't told you yet."
Yeah, they are smarter than we think.
Little does he realize that mom can be smart, too and he just let me in on his little secret.

Jeffrey's creative side

Here is a castle and a side house that Jeffrey made with legos. (We did a unit study on Prince Caspian and he was building it while we did the unit study)

As I said, somewhere on this page, I hope you enjoy these pictures. I hope to get better the more I do this and if not at least you get the privilege of seeing our beautiful family.

Just to let you all know; our vacation here in Hawaii is coming to a close. We are on our way back to Washington, to the snow, sometime in January. It will be hard to pack up our shorts and swimsuits but we are pretty confident that we will be able to pull them out sometime.

Here is a picture of our first hike with Rex. That was a funny site. Since Rex is a herding dog he would have fit if we got away from each other. He barked until he couldn't bark anymore.

Here is a picture of the whole soccer team. Jason was the coach for a litte while. Those kids didn't get to keep a coach for long. There first coach ended up going to Africa for a year, Jason took over for a month and then chief stuff took over, so then the back up coach took over and he had to be gone on TDY for a little while. I even coached a few practises.

Soccer

If you haven't gotten to see Jeffrey playing soccer you are definately missing out. He has gotten very good. His coach even told us that he was the best player and if he happened to tell that to another parent as well, we chose to ignore it.

Rex

I sure can't leave out the new addition to our family (Captain Rex), named by the boys after a Star Wars figure, of course.
