mini snowman
So thought I would let you know how we spent a day a couple of weeks ago.
The first day it snowed we were able to make a little mini snow man. I don't know why I was so shocked to see the snow when I woke up but it definately confirmed to me, in case I had any doubts, that I was no longer in Hawaii.

Back in Washington
Well hello to you. Wow have we had some changes this last month. We left sunny Hawaii to come back to Washington State. I definatley have to say that Washington is just so beautiful. It was harder to leave Hawaii then I thought it was going to be. I didn't realize till we were leaving what great friends we had made. That has to be one of the hardest things of the military life, leaving behind those great people that you are blessed to meet. But on the other hand we were united again with some great friends we left in Washington. Jason is not able to be home with us right now. He is now attached to a fast boat out here and is deployed. He will be taking on a lot of newness during this deployment. How amazing that man is. He set out to meet this boat during deployment not knowing quiet what to expect. Aside from the fact that he has been on subs before everything else is new. But knowing my Jason he will come out of this ahead. Jeffrey and Jonah are doing good. They had to leave some really great friends behind. It is different not living in military houseing were they were surrounded by kids their age but they are taking it better than I thought they would. Jeffrey is still being homeschooled, even though the majority of our curriculum in still in transit somewhere. Jonah is just happy when he can follow his big brother around. Me; well were do I being. I am definately not hurting for things to do. Besides the time the boys are being homeschooled I am also taking online college classes. With this move I get to set up house (even though those things haven't arrived yet). But I have to say that being a single parent takes the cake. But what a blessing it is to be able to realize the many things you are able to accomplish. I hope that many of you will take the oportunity to visit us here in Washington. We think that we will be here for 2 years so don't wait till the last minute, you never know what the military will have in store for us :) Until next time, Jessi
